I loved everything about this piece. I hope your health troubles are improving, and way to go, pursuing your interests solo. I should do the same, now that I think about it. I have taken classes by myself on occasion but not as often as I could. Thank you for the reminder.
They actually have a lot of awesome programming from sketching to bird watching and everything in between. You can google it, but I’ll include the link in Saturday’s recommendation round up. 🌲
Loved this post and recipe! It's often scary to get out of your comfort zone but almost always worth it! Foraged mushrooms are my favorite thing of the fall season. In Spain it's big but here in the US it's quite difficult to find.
There are so many fabulous mushrooms to scavenge in Ontario - including the super expensive porcini, morels, and chanterelles. I can’t wait to get a little better at it and start forging for real!
My hubby made this dish and it was delicious! Loved it!!
Terrific! And it’s so simple to come together. We had it again yesterday as part of our poolside lunch. Delicious! 🍄
What a wonderful experience! Kudos for you for adventuring on your own! I think that's how I'll have to forage here in Como too! x
I’m kindof addicted! I’d really like to get proficient at it. 🤞

And this recipe looks delicious!
Thanks, Christina! I’m not adverse to doing things along, but of course it’s more fun with a friend or two. But I’m done with waiting. 😊
If you try the mushroom toasts, let me know how they turn out! 🍄
I love the idea of foraging for mushrooms! I had no idea this is happening in High Park. Love it.
